I don't have many photos from the summers of 1974-6–in fact some of these are from Libby and some from Mitch's scrapbook–but many of you have other photos. (I was only there for Dames at Sea1975 and the 1976 season: Damn Yankees, Fiddler, Fantasticks, and Dames again.)

The first time 2Ts (Torn Ticket) and 3Ps (Pen, Paint & Pretzels) collaborated. (also my only on-stage appearance, besides Fritz, the gay pianist in the Kit Kat Klub all-girls band)

Good times and bum times, We've seen them all and, my dear, We're still here. The last of the 3(4) shows Mitchell Maxwell directed. The first amateur production of Follies anywhere--Maestro Sondheim sent good wishes personally. And yes, Laurie Lane--look carefully and you can see yourself. Kopit: keep your hands off that girl! Doug: the missing Edvard Munch painting was found already.

Little did we know that by the time of our 33&1/3 Torn Ticket/Torn Ticket II anniversary, some of us would've experienced the sorry-grateful sentiments we so poorly comprehended back in 1973.

Mr. Seymour maintains that this production was produced by a group distinct from Torn Ticket. Well, I subscribe to a principle termed "Occam's razor". This is often paraphrased as "All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one." In other words, when multiple competing theories are equal in other respects, the principle recommends selecting the theory that introduces the fewest assumptions and postulates the fewest hypothetical entities. So, what looks like Torn Ticket and sounds like Torn Ticket is Torn Ticket. This was de facto the first Torn Ticket minor production, performed in the MacPhee "coffee house".

Well, it's a good thing Mr. Seymour isn't a physician: photophobia is aversion to light, not fear of photographs--a symptom of meningitis, inflammatory ocular diseases, among other conditions. Now that my rank on this web-site has been promoted to "administrator", I really can publish photographs. More to come.
